Casebook and UK Casebook are the quarterly
publications of the Medical Protection Society (MPS), an organisation
founded in 1892 and run by doctors and dentists for the benefit
of healthcare professionals around the world.
Members who call the Society for advice and assistance are guided
by a team of doctors and dentists who are experienced in medical
law and, in many cases, possess a law degree or a legal qualification.
The advisory team works closely with in-house lawyers who in turn
have access to the best specialist legal practices, thus ensuring
that members have the widest range of skills available to them.
UK Casebook and Casebook - the international
edition - keep members informed with news, views as well as a comprehensive
section of case studies, reporting on the various cases that MPS
has dealt with.
CPL won the contract to design and sub-edit the journals late
in 2001.
