Phoenix International Publishing

This company has built up an enviable reputation in North America for publishing a range of travel guides in partnership with indiviudal State tourism authorities and consortia of such authorities. A key part of its appeal is that it has specialist expertise in designing tourism guides that attract European visitors - mainly British - to North American destinations.

To this end, the Texas-based company outsources its design and production to a British organisation - Cambridge Publishers Ltd. We are responsible for designing and overseeing the print each year of approximately a million copies of up to 20 different guides, some published in multiple languages, including Japanese. Phoenix trusts us to act as project managers for the entire operation, working with Phoenix's editors, writers, advertising agencies, printers and shippers - and directly with its own clients in America and Canada.
