Better

Committed to the use of evidence-based practice in schools, the Institute for Effective Education develops and evaluates effective education programmes, and encourages their adoption by policy-makers and educators. Based at the University of York, the IEE is an independent organisation that is driven neither by politics nor profits, and instead establishes what works for children and young people and communicates it to the education establishment.

In 2009 CPL was asked by the IEE to design and produce a new magazine called Better: Evidence-based Education which would cover the latest developments in education research via separate UK and US editions.
