Our background
The company was founded in 1996 by former executives from Fleet
Street, who had worked at senior management level in broadsheet
newspapers such as The Independent, The Observer,
and The Independent on Sunday.
We realised that many of the disciplines imposed by national newspapers
- imagination, energy, flexibility, speed, the ability to meet
deadlines
- were lacking in the spheres of publishing in general, and magazine
publishing in particular. Many organisations which have sought
"professional"
help to produce their publications find themselves enduring indifferent
design, poor copy, sloppy editing, high prices and slow turnarounds...
...it doesn't have to be like that.
